The safety awareness flyer addresses the increase in motorcycle exposure your drivers will experience everyday on our highways. All statistics show an increase in motorcycle rider-ship and accidents. The Texas Department of Transportation just published data that shows there have been over 1000 more motorcycle accidents since January 1, 2008 as compared to the same period in 2007. Motorcycles are often “invisible” to motor vehicle drivers and when accidents occur, they are often catastrophic.
