Policies will be direct billed. The agent must remit the deposit premium (including all assessments and fees) in full at the time of binding.
INSTALLMENTS:
25% down and 3 equal consecutive monthly installments (Requires annual premiums in excess of $1,000)
25% down and 8 equal consecutive monthly installments (Requires annual premiums in excess of $2,500)
10% down and 9 equal consecutive monthly installments (Requires annual premiums in excess of $2,500)
12 equal consecutive monthly installments (Requires annual premiums in excess of $1,000 and the use of direct debit**)

PAY-AS-YOU-OWE (PAYO):
To make workers' compensation premium payments as seamless as possible for insureds, AmTrust appointed agents can partner with approved payroll companies. Since workers' compensation premium is based on payroll, the payroll company calculates the premium at the same time they calculate the insured's payroll, and will issue monthly reports and premiums directly to AmTrust on the insured's behalf.
Benefits to binding workers' comp accounts on PAYO include:
- Low $200 deposit
- Improves cash flow since employer pays workers' comp with actual payroll
- Reduces the chance of additional or return premium at audit
- Allows employers better control over their workers' comp business expense
Getting payroll companies approved is a simple process. To confirm that the payroll company has adequate information on their workers' compensation report, AmTrust requests a copy of the report and information on how the company will submit the insured's premium payment. To find out if a payroll company is approved or to submit a company for approval, please contact your marketing representative.
