Formed in 1991, AmTrust International Underwriters is a Dublin, Ireland-based insurance company and a member of AmTrust Financial Services.

AmTrust International Underwriters has provided the international community with warranty, creditor and special risks insurance. Formerly known as International Insurance Services, Ltd. (IIS), AmTrust International has wide experience in distribution via intermediaries and administrators, as well as providing tailored direct retail solutions. Based in Dublin, Ireland, the company specializes in large-volume, low-value capacity schemes and draws support from its parent company, AmTrust Financial Services.

Apart from AmTrust International, AmTrust Financial Services also includes three U.S. insurance companies, Technology Insurance Company (New Hampshire), Rochdale Insurance Company (New York), and Wesco Insurance (Delaware). The group's reinsurance company, AmTrust International Insurance, Ltd. (AII) is based in Bermuda and is the direct parent of AmTrust International, for whom AmTrust Nordic is an underwriting agency based in Stockholm, Sweden, generating business in the Nordic area of Europe.
