UBI has roots going back to 1923 when it began underwriting for the Texas automobile insurance market. Since then, we have evolved into a commercial lines regional insurance carrier operating in over 30 states. In June 2008, UBI was acquired by AmTrust Financial Services. As a result, UBI has the resources as well as the drive to expand into additional states and product lines. Innovation and growth are the hallmarks for UBI in the future.
