The BOP Product Manager is responsible to develop a BOP product and to manage profitability and growth of the BOP business in the entire AmTrust marketing region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate underwriting guidelines and eligibility criteria to ensure consistent profitability.
- Establish product parameters and work with IT group to ensure proper systems development.
- Manage referral underwriters for timeliness of responses and quality of underwriting decisions.
- Coordinate filing needs with compliance team.
- Establish state priorities
- Establish tier priorities
- Determine competition price points and product differentials
- Meet with agents and marketing team to improve product to meet market needs.
- Nurture key BOP agency relationships to increase volume of profitable business.
- Meet regularly with underwriting management to be aware of growth and profitability trends in BOP business.
- Perform duties as required by supervisor to facilitate business growth.
- Domestic travel 5-6 days per month
Requirements:
- College Degree required
- 7+ years of industry experience
- Self starter and willingness to work with others
- Ability to communicate and write reports
Compensation:
The BOP Product Manager will be paid a base salary and be eligible for an annual bonus based on ability to hit target growth and profitability goals. The position will also receive benefits provided by AmTrust North America.
